My Artistic Sacrifice

When we were in school they made us pick between Music and Art.

I never understood why we couldn’t ever do both, as if there was an Oil and Water analogy lurking in the back that prevented Music and Art from mixing.

As if we couldn’t sing and paint at the same time or dance and draw without suffering a major breakdown. I never understood … so I had to sacrifice one for the other.
